Who operates VOTUM
These terms cover the SpiritualVita website, the VOTUM companion app and account services operated by OneHealth-Lab LLC. VOTUM helps you explore cultural traditions and reflect on your own experiences.
Eligibility and availability
VOTUM accounts and cloud backup are for adults aged 18 or older. By creating an account or accepting these terms, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We offer the service internationally where permitted by applicable law. Features and availability may vary by country; this does not promise availability in every country. Physical-product sales, shipping, warranties and returns are separate and will have their own terms when offered.
Your account
You can use the app as a guest without creating an account. Registration verifies your email address with a code and requires agreement to these terms and acknowledgement of the Privacy Policy. Keep your credentials and codes private, provide accurate information and only use an account you are entitled to control. Tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your library stays with you
After registration or sign-in, the app automatically copies the phone’s guest readings, journal entries, favorites and related preferences into the account’s local library. The original guest library stays on the phone. Existing account content is preserved and duplicate imports are avoided. On a shared phone, check the guest library before signing in.
Cloud backup is your choice
Signing in does not enable cloud backup. You can enable it separately in Account & backup. Turning backup off stops future backup; it does not delete cloud copies already stored. Keep independent copies of content you do not want to lose. Export and local-data controls are available in the app. Bluetooth pairing credentials and physical-device ownership are separate from your account.
Reflection, with care
Readings, cultural interpretations and journal prompts are offered for reflection. They do not predict outcomes or replace professional medical, legal, financial or other advice. Use your own judgement for decisions that affect your wellbeing or others.
Your content and our content
Your journal entries and other personal content remain yours. You allow us and our service providers to store and process it only as needed to provide the services you choose, protect the service and meet applicable legal obligations. Share only content you are entitled to use. Artwork, text, software and branding supplied by SpiritualVita or its licensors remain their property; use them within the product and respect applicable rights.
Using the service responsibly
Do not use the service unlawfully, interfere with its security, access someone else’s account without permission, bypass account protection or email limits, or upload content that violates another person’s rights. We may restrict access when necessary to address misuse, meet legal obligations or protect the service.
Changing or leaving
You can sign out or request account deletion in the app. Deletion removes the account and associated personal data from the active account service. The app asks whether to keep a local copy. Existing local copies on other phones and restricted recovery backups are separate; see the Privacy Policy. Device pairing and device ownership are not removed merely by deleting an account.
Service changes and your rights
We may change or discontinue features, for example to maintain security or respond to legal requirements. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every device or region supports every feature. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights where you live. When a new accepted version is required, the app asks you to review it.
